Ely SC Cadets compete at first round of Cambs Youth League

5 Ely SC cadets travelled to Cam SC to race in the first round of the 2024 Cambs Youth League. It was a the first time that all the sailors have raced on the river, so took a little getting used to. The winds were light north easterly, so a beat downstream and a run upstream. Well done to Edward, Lola, Jash, Fergus and Michael. Congratulations to Fergus who second place in the U16 category and to Michael, winning second placed U12 and youngest competitor! Many thanks to Cam SC for hosting. Thanks to all the parents and supporters that helped our squad on the day. Next round is at Grafham on 1st June.
