Discover & ReDiscover Sailing

We hold an annual open day in May each year for everyone who wishes to try out sailing - this is part of the RYA's 'Discover Sailing' Campaign. Please get in touch with the membership secretary if you have missed this opportunity but would like to ReDiscover sailing.

Accessible Sailing

We want sailing to be as accessible and inclusive as it can be - the RYA Sailability page has lots of information on accessing sailing with disabilites.

Please get in touch with the Membership Secretary or Commodore using the contact us page to discuss any concerns regarding accessing the club and sailing at the club or if we could support you with any additional needs. Alternatively, please contact the training principal if it's regarding learning to sail with us.

Unfortunatley, our club is limited by our specific location which does involve stairs to access the lake which has no close-hand power supply and we do not currently have a specifically adapted boat of any kind - please do contact us to get further information if you are wondering if it would be possible to access sailing at Ely Sailing Club, we would love to help. We do also have 'dry land' sailing in the form of Model Yachting with no stairs required - check out the website page for further information.
