Reminder - Paddlesports Not Permitted
With the nice weather, we have seen an increase in the number of swimmers, paddleboarders, kayakers etc. attempting to use Roswell Pits. Please be reminded that the lake is private and only sailing (within club rules and bylaws) is permitted. There is no swimming, kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding/SUP etc. permitted at any time.

Ely Cadets Succeed at National Regatta
4 sleepy cadets have returned from the National Schools Sailing Association regatta that took place this week on Bassenthwaite Lake. Ely SC - Hunter's Yard 2024

2024 12 Hour Overnight Race Round Up
On a warm summer's evening, 12 eager sailors, armed with snacks a plenty and some delightful dinners rigged up an Enterprise, Comet Versa and Wayfarer for the annual 12 hour overnight race at Ely. Overnight Race - 2024
Tonight is the night for sailing! The Overnight race takes place Saturday-Sunday, come to the club around 5pm for sorting teams, rigging boats etc. As we race in teams, there's no need to be sailing the full time! Please note there is no formal sailing on Saturday or Sunday other than the overnight race.

Ely Cadets Brave The Broads
Yesterday, Saturday 15th June, 9 Ely SC cadets took to the Norfolk Broads for a day sailing in beautiful, traditional wooden boats. 3 reefed boats left a sunny Hunters Yard just before 11 with the 2 Rebel boats out in front with Buff Tip following soon after. Ely SC Cadets Race at Grafham Youth League 24
A massive well done to the 6 Ely SC cadets who took part in the Grafham SC leg of the Cambridgeshire Youth League. Edward, Fergus, Jashan, Kieran, Louise and Michael joined 19 other sailors from around the county to tackle some very testing conditions.
