RYA Powerboat Courses - No courses will be available until Autumn 2023

Whether you are new to powerboating or have some experience and are looking for certification, the Powerboat Level 2 course could well be for you. The aim of this course is to provide a sound introduction to boat handling. The course will cover all subjects as detailed in the RYA Syllabus, and includes boat handling under way, anchoring and man overboard.

This powerboat qualification is also known as the 'National Powerboat Certificate'. Those gaining their Level 2 can then apply to the RYA for their ICC ('International Certificate of Competence'). The course suits both those with extensive boat handling experience and those who have never stepped onto a boat before.

The course includes logbook, handbook and Photocard certificate.

We can also offer half day direct assessments for those of you that have been powerboating for years and now wish to take your skills abroad or commercially.

Minimum Age: 11 years old
