RYA Cadet Stage 1 or 2 Dinghy Sailing Course

By purchasing this ticket you are accepting the following terms and conditions:

I declare that to the best of my knowledge, I (or the person for whom I am making this booking) am fit to participate in the course.

The club is not liable for any accident or consequential damages arising from the use of the premises and its facilities. Neither Ely Sailing Club nor RYA Assistant Instructors, RYA Dinghy Instructors, RYA Senior Instructors, RYA Powerboat Instructors or RYA Coaches accept responsibility for any loss, damage or injury suffered by persons and/or their property arising out of or during the course of their activities whilst training and/or coaching and/or instructing unless injury, loss or damage was caused by, or resulted from, negligence or deliberate act. Please be aware that, whilst appropriate safety precautions shall be taken by the club and appropriate persons, there is an inherent risk to participating in sporting activities.

Cancellation Policy:
Ely Sailing Club reserves the right to cancel any course. Where this is necessary a full refund will be made and/or an alternative course offered. No additional liability for compensation or expenses will be accepted by Ely Sailing Club.
If a student cancels their booked place on a course up to 3 weeks before the course starting date, a full refund will be given. This cancellation must be made in writing to the training coordinator via the website contact portal. If a student cancels their booked place on a course less than 3 weeks before the course starting date no refund will be given (unless the place is filled by another student).
Once the course has begun if a student cannot complete the full course for any reason, no refund or partial refund will be given.
By making a payment for a course you confirm that you are willing to accept the above booking terms and conditions.

Data Protection – Ely SC will not sell or share your personal details or information with any third parties & will handle your data in line with the club’s data protection policy.

By making this booking, you, the purchaser agree to the following for yourself & on behalf of those for whom the booking is for:
-You agree to pay the appropriate fees and abide by the club rules and bylaws. Your place will be forfeited if payment is not made.
-You agree that you will abide by all reasonable instructions from RYA instructors and coaches of all delegations throughout the duration of the course and understand that failure to do so may result in increased risk, personal injury and/or withdrawal from the course without refund.
-You agree to photographs and/or videos being taken for use as promotional material, on the club website, or for training purposes.
-Course participants will become members of Ely Sailing Club for the remainder of the season.
