Welcome back to the new season! After a long winter break, I hope that you are all ready to start sailing again. We have a fuller calendar, with more dates for Friday social sailing this year. Hello Members Now it is warm there is no excuse not to come down to the Club if not to sail then just to enjoy the surroundings with a long cool drink. It has been a busy June with all the events, courses and training sessions taking place as scheduled, except the partners race which will be re-run in August. Watch this space for details. Commodores Waffle back by public demand! It looks like the first day of the new season is going to be a windy one. Racing starts this Sunday 29th March at 1pm. There has already been a lot of activity at the Club this year, the training team have been in full swing with lots of new and old members gaining their First Aid qualification under the tutelage of Principal Steve Board. Dear All, Welcome to the 2014 Ely Sailing Club sailing season!!! We’ve had a really busy winter working party, with the club, grounds and kit all having a spruce up. Sailing, at long last, starts on Sunday 30th April and not forgetting our Spring Bowling Social on Saturday. I hope to see you all at some point then!
